Praise for Working the Patrol Method

I ordered the book and read it. I have been a SM for 12 years and a Scout since I was 8 years old. I  am so happy that you wrote this book. This is how I run our troop and the way I feel about the Scouting program. I am writing a TLT course that will emphasis the 8 methods of Scouting and will include a lot from your book. Several times.  I shared it with several adults in my troop. Our committee chair had me order three copies for the troop library. I believe that the book will be quite helpful.  We are trying to instill the boy-led approach, while ensuring safety and bearing in mind legal responsibilities.  Restraint and proper channeling of adult enthusiasm looks to be one of our challenges, as is how to train the boys in the context of the boy-led concept. – Scoutmaster
